For 25 years, the Vizient® Performance Improvement (PI) Collaboratives Program has been bringing hospitals together to address some of the industry’s most pressing issues, such as health equity, workplace violence, sepsis early recognition and clinical-supply integration. During 2022, across the three program components participating organizations have achieved more than $192 million in value through cost avoidance and enhanced revenue.

When examining how national industry data regarding TAVR compared to Vizient member data, Vizient consulting director found that in terms of length of stay, complication and readmission rates, the numbers largely aligned. But more revealing was a trend she noted: the clustering of clinics in several urban areas and an almost complete lack of access in many rural ones.
