CHICAGO
UHC welcomes Neal Peyser to the newly established role of vice president, Health Systems and Payer Solutions. Peyser will be responsible for advancing innovative collaboration between major employers and academic medical centers focusing on the provision of more efficient episodes of complex health care.

"Our economic research has shown academic medical centers to be more efficient in the treatment of complex illness such as cancer. Neal's extensive experience makes him a natural choice to lead our efforts to revolutionize the way that payers and providers partner in the treatment of chronic and complex illnesses."
Most recently, Peyser was president and founder of Healthcare Continuum Advisors. Prior to that, he was senior vice president for Health Dimensions Group.
"I'm delighted to join the expert team at UHC. I look forward to collaborating with the leaders in academic medicine and helping them maximize their use of UHC’s offerings to succeed in this changing health care environment," said Peyser.
Peyser brings vast experience as a health care consultant and previously worked with several UHC members, assisting with their strategic planning. Peyser is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives as well as the Society for Healthcare Planning and Marketing. He has an MBA in marketing and health services management from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and an MA in audiology and a BS in speech from Northwestern University.
