Irving, TX, Jan. 31, 2023 — Vizient, Inc. announced today it is accepting applications for its 2023 Innovative Technology Exchange and encouraged suppliers of medical equipment and technology who want to showcase their products to healthcare decision makers from across the country to participate. The event will take place Oct. 3 in Dallas and the deadline to apply is April 7. Applications can be submitted here.
The annual Innovative Technology Exchange offers selected suppliers the unique opportunity to demonstrate their technologies to supply chain and clinical leaders from Vizient’s member hospitals and subject matter experts who serve on Vizient member councils. Selected suppliers will showcase how their technologies improve clinical outcomes, enhance safety or drive incremental improvements to health care delivery or business models. The event is part of a process that can earn candidates a Vizient Innovative Technology contract or designation for their product.
“Healthcare supply chain leaders, clinicians and other decision makers get an up-close look at the products and technologies suppliers bring to the Innovative Technology Exchange,” said Kelly Flaharty, Vizient senior director, contract services, who leads the program. “It’s a great opportunity to share information about products that can potentially make a difference in healthcare.”
The annual Innovative Technology Exchange is part of Vizient’s Innovative Technology Program that includes product review of supplier-submitted technologies by member-led councils and task forces. Since 2003, Vizient has reviewed over 3,000 technologies as part of its Innovative Technology Program. Interested suppliers can learn more here.
