Margaret directs strategic planning and contracting for the Medical, Surgical, Lab and Med/Surg Distribution team, and the Impact Standardization program at Vizient. She is responsible for the strategy and execution of national agreements to deliver significant value and operational improvement for products and distribution services. Margaret also has oversight of several Member Councils, including Respiratory & Critical Care Anesthesia, Clinical & Supply, Perioperative, Wound Management and Lab. She co-leads Vizient’s Supply Chain Strategic Council and is responsible for over $20 billion in annual spend.

In October 2020, Margaret was named one of the Top 10 People to Watch in Healthcare Contracting by The Journal of Healthcare Contracting and highlighted again in December of 2022 as one of 10 Women Leaders in Supply Chain. Prior to her role on the Medical/Surgical team, Margaret led the Accelerated Contracting Expertise team in Purchased Services. The team featured deep expertise in Food & Nutrition Services, Environmental Services, Clinical Equipment Maintenance, Laundry and Linen Services and Plant Operations.
Margaret previously served on the HIDA Supply Chain Collaborative Steering Committee as well as Federation of American Hospitals’ Advisory Committee. She received her Bachelor of Science from University of Texas at Dallas with a Major in Business Administration and a Minor in Marketing.
