Vizient, Inc. Announces 3Derm as 2016 Innovation Challenge Champion

IRVING, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Vizient, Inc. today announced 3Derm as the winner of its Innovation Challenge, an interactive competition between five health care start-up companies. The competition was held Friday, September 30 during the Vizient 2016 Clinical Connections Summit at the Hyatt Regency Dallas. The annual member event drew more than 2,200 attendees which included representatives from 350 member hospitals and health systems.

The Vizient Innovation Challenge gave Vizient members a firsthand look at five new and compelling product ideas designed to help improve the quality and delivery of health care. Following a seven- minute presentation by each contestant and real-time voting by the audience, 3Derm was chosen as the winner of the 2016 Innovation Challenge.

3Derm offers virtual tele-dermatology diagnostics. The 3Derm imaging system captures and delivers the same three views a dermatologist uses in an exam room, making remote visits virtually indistinguishable from current practice.
