“We are excited to see a broad range of suppliers signing up for the event,” said Debbie Archer, director, procurement and innovative technology, Novation. “In addition to incumbent suppliers, we are also encouraging new health care suppliers as well as companies in the purchased services areas that can offer the hospital members we serve products that lower costs, increase safety or improve efficiencies.”

The Expo is part of Novation’s Innovative Technology Program which includes review by hospital member-led councils and task forces of supplier submitted technologies. Once reviewed, these teams determine whether the product provides incremental clinical benefit over existing products. The members may elect to award an innovative technology contract outside of Novation's competitive bid cycle.

Since 2003, more than 1500 new and innovative technologies have been submitted through the Novation Innovative Technology program. Learn more about Novation's Innovative Technology Expo and program.
