Novation, the leading health care supply chain expertise, analytics and contracting company, announced the availability of new National Group Buys for the third quarter that enable health care organizations to save up to 82 percent on capital equipment and beverage purchases.
The current Group Buy agreements, effective through Sept. 30, 2014, offer savings to health care organizations on a wide variety of products across 26 categories. For the first time, the Novation Group Buy program includes consumable products in the food service category with Coca-Cola offering deep discounts on bottled water and POWERADE™. Seimens Medical Solutions also is offering group buys in 12 categories this quarter with savings up to 48 percent.

In the third quarter, health care organizations can achieve significant savings on several categories including anesthesia, angiography/cardiovascular, blood gas, C-ARM, chemistry/immunochemistry, coagulation, cold storage, cribs, CT scanners, CV suites, exam room equipment, hematology, general radiography, hemodynamic and electrophysiology monitors, lasers, mammography, micro ID sensitivity, MRI, MRI peripherals, nuclear medicine, O.R. tables and accessories, radiology, ventilators and ultrasound.
In addition to Seimens (Medical Solutions, Healthcare Diagnostics) and Coca-Cola, agreements for products were awarded to several suppliers including Cardinal Healthcare, Draeger Medical, Hard Manufacturing Co., and Mizuho OSI Inc.
