According to a survey analysis of members conducted by Vizient, one such policy—white and brown bagging—is having a significant negative impact on the way specialty pharmaceuticals are dispensed by hospitals for treatments for seriously ill patients.

With combined vigilance, the detection rate goes up and the risk of cancer in the interval between colonoscopies goes down. Artificial intelligence is anything but artificial, and Joe Cummings, Ph.D., Vizient’s technology program director, believes AI technology is already transforming the delivery of patient care for the better.
