Jayne Willingham, MN, RN, CPHQ
In her role as vice president of nursing programs, Willingham has operational responsibility for the Vizient Nurse Residency Program (NRP), providing leadership and direction to trainers and project managers. Additionally, she executes the NRP business plan and contributes to the development of nursing leadership programs.
Prior to her current role, Willingham was responsible for coordinating and overseeing regional accreditation services and facilitating performance improvement activities in various clinical and operational offerings for Vizient Gulf States. She also served in the role of facilitator for many clinical networking councils in the region. As part of the Gulf States leadership team, she helped shape the regional strategy.
Willingham has more than 35 years of health care experience and is currently licensed as a professional nurse in Louisiana. She also has achieved certification in health care quality. She is a member of the National Association of Healthcare Quality and the Louisiana Organization of Nurse Executives.
Willingham earned a diploma in nursing from Charity Hospital School of Nursing in New Orleans, a bachelor of science degree in nursing from William Carey College in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and a master of science in nursing from Louisiana State University Medical Center.
