As senior director of accreditation education programs for Vizient, Eisenberg leads efforts to help members develop their continuous patient readiness process, improve their accreditation knowledge, solutions and strategies; and ultimately ensure a focus on quality and patient safety.
Prior to this role, Eisenberg led accreditation, clinical compliance and policy management for Northwestern Medicine in Chicago. She was responsible for leading the full range of Joint Commission and other accreditation and regulatory compliance activities for the system. Also under her purview was the programmatic direction for the design, development, and system oversight for policy and procedure management.
She has served as faculty for a variety of educational programs and has authored several articles and books related to accreditation and continuous readiness. Her evolution in health care administration began in medical staff services and quality.
Eisenberg holds a master’s degree in health administration from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois, as well as several specialty certifications.
