Siemens Medical is the featured supplier for Vizient’s Quarter 1 group buys
IRVING, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Vizient, Inc. today announced the product categories and suppliers participating in its Quarter 1 National Group Buy Program, available Jan. 1 through March 31, 2017. Vizient’s innovative National Group Buy Program is one of several strategic programs designed to deliver additional savings each quarter to the member hospitals it serves.
Siemens Medical, the featured supplier for Quarter 1, is offering savings opportunities across 11 imaging categories, including cardiovascular imaging systems, C-arms, CT scanner systems and mobile CT scanners, general radiography equipment, hemodynamic and electrophysiology monitors, mammography, MRI systems, nuclear medicine equipment, PET-CT systems, ultrasound systems and urology imaging systems.

All equipment noted for the Quarter 1 group buy will be available to all Vizient members, including customers served by MedAssets’ Spend and Clinical Resource Management business, which Vizient acquired in February 2016.
During this group buy period, some suppliers are offering additional value in the form of extended-parts warranties, training, leasing options, financing options, POS service discounts, free shipping and trade-in allowances.
Since 2005, members and affiliates served by Vizient have purchased more than $5 billion across 186 product categories, with more than $1.3 billion in savings via the group buy program. In 2016 alone, Vizient members realized more than $357 million in savings.
